Welcome to Off Tech forums!
There are many forums, some good, some are not. The basic purpose of starting this forums is to provide a place where everyone can share their views on anything and everything. Most of the forums have very Strict rules and also they not allow you to deviate from them. We also have some General Rules that are made keeping in mind the comfort level of all the users. We don't have made really strict. All the staff is really polite here. We will try as hard as possible to help you stay here but for the troublemakers, we have no mercy.
I am sure you won't believe that, but normal users are the only ones that enjoys a lot here! Staff really need to work hard. We have spend only a little on the construction of the forum and nor we want to earn a single penny from it. We have only created it for fun. The forum at present survives purely on our private funds. If you want to help, we will really appreciate that! Contact: Mr. Admin
We also want to advertise our forum but we are somewhat running out of funds. So it would be great if you could advertise the forum. Again for more details contact: Mr. Admin
This guide is designed to act as a basic reference and should not take the place of one to one advice from a more experienced site user, if you have questions then there are many people you can ask and we are now going to start, by taking a look at some of those people:
Users: These are the common users of the forum. They inject life to the forum. They don't have any powers, however they can be cl***ified into several Ranks. For more info refer Ranking System. Users are what make the community what it is, a great place to hang out discussing things and a good place to meet interesting and diverse people from all over the world.
Super Users: Often abbreviated to SU, these are the sites helpers and they take care of keeping an eye on things to make sure that people who need help or guidance get it. They are a level up from users. They are those people who have shown several intelligent traits and hence are rewarded with some powers. However they are not staff but help staff a lot.
Beta Testers: They are basically those people who make new features appear on the forum. They have technical knowledge and work in background to make the new features available. They reserves the same powers as a Super User but they are given more space to show up their skills and test those features without affecting your quality experience.
Moderators: As the name itself suggest they help to maintain the decorum of the forum. They spend their valuable time viewing posts, spotting rule exploiters and correcting them. They are part of Off Tech Staff. They work in background keeping eye on problems and sorting it out. If you need your thread moved or want help and need more ***istance than you can get from a Super User, these are the people to get in touch with.
Super Moderators: Super Moderators are a set even further from moderators. They help the admins a lot. These are the people who oversee everything on the site from deleting bad threads to taking action against users who have broken the rules. They also help people in much the same way the Super Users do so please do not think of the Super Moderators here as being unapproachable, they are here to help.
Administrators: These are the people at the top, whom the Super Moderators can turn to for advice or ***istance. These are people who are responsible for the survival of the forums. They arrange for finance and are jack of all trades! You can always report mod abuse to them. All donations and affiliation related matters also goes to them. They reserves all powers and rights you can think of!
All of those who have an elevated position here work without pay. They give their free time to ensure the smooth running of the site and to try to make the experience for of all of us a good one; please do try to be patient with them because they are often kept very busy indeed, if you need help though they are here for you.
A member can be a part of multiple group. You can see that under the group tab of any member profile.
Like most of the Forums we too allow you to use Signatures in your posts. These too have some rules that will help us to maintain the decorum of the forum. For more please refer to Signature Rules. If you will don't follow these rules you may get some warnings from the staff or if you continue with the same then you may also get banned. If you found any user whose sig is not following the said rules, you may always contact staff and inform them or the staff.
All users are not like YOU. Some of them are troublemakers. If you find any one of them, do report the same to staff. If you find a posts that violate RULES then you can always report them.

You may ask several queries here and many of them will get instant solution (I hope). After your problem has been solved please do add [Solved] to the thread title. So that the staff can move them to Solved category. It will help us to keep the form neat.
