May 2015 updates are finally here.
And we are very excited to present it before you!
Let us begin with some funny ones:
1. Post Moods: Now you can also show your emotions in your posts. Now in ever thread, after the Create thread 'thread button' there will be a 'post Moods' button which will allow you to show several emotions with your post!
2. Notification and Message alert: We don't want you to miss any message or notification. So from now onwards, you will get a pop-up dialog on every message and notification.
3. Tag Myself: We all often tag ourself while making post. It feels really bad to use 'insert user link' button. Now you can simply use
to tag yourself in the post.
4. Quote Highlighted Text: We all often Quote text in order to repeat someone's words. But quoting only a part of it becomes a difficult task. Now you can quote text by just highlighting the text and clicking the quote button.
5. Moderator's note: Moderators often edit posts of those users that seems to be nuisance or are opposed to Rules. But the poster must have information of it. From now every post edit will be accompanied by a Moderator's note below it to provide reason for its edit.
6. Delete Content Warning: As the name itself suggest, every delete will be accompanied by a warning to ensure it.
7. External Link Confirmation: We are responsible for all the links of off tech but not for outside ones. You will receive a warning while visiting outside links.
8. Warning system: This was the need of the hour. Now Every troublemaker will get warnings for any rule violation or nuisance. His warning percentage will be increased along with a punishment. Each member's profile will have its warning percentage. What will be the punishment on what warning percentage will be conveyed to you soon.
Several other staff level improvements and bug fixes have been made.
